Rye Bonfire Society provided a spectacular event on 13th November!

After missing out in 2020, Rye Bonfire Society provided a spectacular event on Saturday 13th November which delighted locals and visitors in the area. The event kicked off at 7:30pm with the amazingly colourful processional walk through the town down to the Bonfire site just off Bedford Place.
The Chairing of down of the Rye Fawkes took place, then the lighting of the bonfire. Fireworks went into a frenzy at 9pm to end a fantastic evening!

The expected date of the Rye Pageant in 2022 is Saturday 12th November.
